Appointment Details and Cancellation Policy
At HairyAdelaide, every appointment is specially tailored just for you. We understand that life gets busy and things can change, which is why we send reminder messages ahead of your booking. We kindly ask that you use these opportunities to amend or cancel your appointment prior to the 48-hour window.
Under no circumstances will appointments cancelled after the 48-hour period be able to transfer their booking fee to future visits.
If no booking fee was paid, the cancellation fee will be added to your next appointment.
Where You Can Park:
Parking in Mona Vale can be tricky, so please allow extra time to find a spot and arrive at your appointment on time. The council car park on Bungan Lane (above Bing Lee) usually has spaces, and Woolworths offers 3 hours of free parking
Your Appointment.
Your hair appointment can take anywhere from 1 hour to 6 hours, depending on the service. We recommend planning your day accordingly. Bring a book, your favourite Netflix show, or your work laptop (we’ve got WiFi!).
We offer herbal teas, snacks, and a cheeky margi in the evenings to keep you comfortable. Our goal is to make your appointment as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, so be sure to allow yourself enough time to truly enjoy the experience!
How Much Will My Service Be?
Our prices are a guide only, as every appointment is tailored to your hair goals. A final quote will be provided before we begin, after an in-depth consultation with your stylist at the start of your appointment.
Since everyone’s hair journey is unique, pricing can vary from visit to visit depending on what’s needed to achieve your desired for that appointment.
Changing Services:
Last-minute adjustments may disrupt our schedule and inconvenience other stylist and clients. Opting out of half of your appointment at the appointment time will still incur charges for the services you initially reserved for.
Please provide a 48-hour notice for any changes to your desired services.
Booking Fee:
A booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This fee will be deducted from your final payment on the day of your appointment.
Confirmation:
Three days before your appointment, you will receive a confirmation SMS (text message). To confirm your appointment, please reply 'YES' or 'NO' to the SMS. This will confirm or cancel your reserved appointment.
Cancellation Policy:
If you cannot attend your appointment, please advise us as soon as you receive your confirmation text, with a minimum of 48 hours (2 days) notice prior to your appointment. This gives us time to schedule other guests and appropriately reschedule you.
Cancellations made after the 48-hour cancellation period will forfeit the booking fee and will not be able to transfer it to any future appointment.
No-show Policy:
To ensure a smooth experience for all, please notify us as soon as possible if you're unable to make your appointment.
No-shows without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the booking fee and a charge for the remaining reserved services. Full payment will be required in advance to book another appointment, with a 48-hour notice for changes.
Adjustments:
In the unlikely case that you are not happy with your hair, please get in touch with us immediately. We offer adjustments for a 10-day period following the original appointment date.
